Teresa Failla entered into Heaven on June 30, 2014, at the age of 90 years old to celebrate, and maybe even play cards, with her family and friends that have gone before her. She is preceeded in death by her husband Joseph Failla; brothers, Carlo and Don Gavello. Teresa is survived by her daughters, Marie Failla of Fresno, and Chris Williams, and husband Stan of Madera; grandson Kent Williams of San Francisco; granddaughter, Monica Williams-Brown and husband Matt of Modesto; her great-grandchildren, and the joy of her life, Mia (her Bella Mia) and Mason Brown; sister, Josephine Clare and husband Bud of Cayucus; numerous nieces and nephews; her cousins, Rick and Freddy Gavello and spouses of the Bay Area; and her four legged grandchildren. She was actively involved in VFW Auxiliary where she was a member for 60 years, The Italian Club, MCH Volunteer for 27 years, St. Vincent De Paul Volunteer, several card playing groups, a lifelong member of St. Joachim's Church and retired from MUSD Cafeteria after 27 years of service. The family would like to thank Dr. Singh and the staff at Westgate Manor for all their care and compassion given during her last days. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel in Madera. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joachim Church in Madera. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
