Vernon Kachadurian was born in Fresno, Ca. on January 24, 1931, and passed away at his home in Fresno, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
Vern graduated from Fresno Technical High School and then joined United States Coast Guard; He was married to Barbara Quarles on November 1, 1952.
Vern was a Painting Contractor and painted many local landmarks; He also donated his time and expertise to the S.P.C.A.
He was a wonderful singer and loved ballroom dancing with his wife. He was known for his story telling, jokes and his passion for gardening. He had a knack for garage sale hunting, and fixing things for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Cynthia, Vance, and Vanessa; his grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, Alexis and Kaira; his great-grandchildren, Ireland Ray, and Alex.
Private Services were held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Clovis Cemetery.
