Andrew Alexander Blozvich November 30, 1921 – January 27, 2013 "Andy" died peacefully on January 27, 2013, at La Villa Grande Care Center. He was born in Mystic, Iowa to Andrew and Margaret (Boslem) Blozvich. He served in the U.S. Army from 1940-1945 in Panama and Europe during World War II. In 1967 Andy married the love of his life, Pat, in Manitou Springs. They moved to Grand Junction and in 1969 they had their son, Andrew. Andy adopted Pat's children as his own. Over the years he operated Andy's Body Shop, worked on the Reudi Dam, managed Horizon Towers (1988-1996) and Mobile City (2000-2005) with his wife, Pat. He loved boxing, westerns and cars, and spent years stock car racing (#16). Andy is survived by his wife, Mary Patricia Blozvich of Grand Junction; brother, Pete Blazevich (Marty) of Fresno, CA, and their five children; brother-in-law, Steve Furches of Brighton; children, Mollie Higginbotham, Miffie Blozvich (Charles Guenther), and Brady Blozvich (Misty) of Grand Junction, and Andrew Blozvich, Jr., and grandchildren, Desmond and Katherine O'Boyle, Dolan and Chani Blozvich, and Paul and Edward Henderson; A military service will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, February 6th at 3:00 p.m. Contributions can be made to the local
