Douglas Glen Pulliam March 26, 1977 – November 17, 2012 Our beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend passed away on November 17, 2012, in Denver, Colorado. He was 35 years old. Douglas Glen Pulliam was born to Byron and Penelope Pulliam on March 26, 1977, in Grand Junction, CO. He graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1995, and completed a BA in business management at Arizona State University in 2001. His first job was as a manager of Petsmart where he set up pet motels. This experience led him to a career as a district manager for Colorado area Petco stores. On June 25, 2005, Doug married Deirdre Caparoso in San Clemente, California. They moved to Denver in 2006, and their son, James Glen, was born on March 4, 2007. Doug was a family man who enjoyed traveling, technology, skiing, golf and most importantly being a father. He coached his son's T-ball and junior football teams this past summer. Preceding Doug in death were his paternal grandfather, Glen Pulliam; maternal grandparents, Joe and Roberta Rhodes; and godmother, Betsy Sneed. He is survived by his wife, Deirdre Caparoso and son, James in Denver; parents, Byron and Penelope Pulliam of Grand Junction; paternal grandmother, Ruddlene Pulliam of Grandbury, Texas; sisters, Cari (Alan) Diehl of Grand Junction, and Kim (Nick) Vecchio of Ft. Collins as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at Callahan-Edfast at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012. A reception at Tiara Rado golf course will follow the service.
