Thomas C. Sinner September 5, 1930 – May 17, 2013 Thomas C. Sinner was born on September 5, 1930 to Godfred and Mary Sinner in Montrose, Colorado. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 17, 2013. He was the oldest of three children and graduated from Montrose High School in 1948. He actively participated in the 4-H Club and was a member of the wrestling, boxing and cheerleading teams throughout high school. After honorably serving our country in the United States Navy, he continued to reside in Colorado until he moved to Highland, California in 1960, and began his career in the construction business, Dillsin Construction and built many homes and buildings in the High Desert area. He also served many years in the Lions Club. He married his soul mate, Millie Schmalz, in February of 1960, and was loving and caring husband for 53 years. Tom exemplified all the characteristics of a truly great man, opening up his home and heart to many. He always had a joke to give, a hand to help, a smile that lit the room and a spirit that touched everyone. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Millie; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Curt Mitchell and their children, Michael, Michele and Matthew; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Elaine Sinner and their children, April Craig, and Sarah and son-in-law, Chance Osborne; son, Dave and his children, Andrew and Jessica and their mother, Marion; brothers, Bill and Darrell and sister-in-law, Myrna. He is also grieved by his extended cousins, nieces, nephews and family, Bessie Wooldridge, Erica Smith, Allie Poblete, Bruce and Mary Mitchell and their children, Curtis and Laura and grandchild, Jonathan Jr. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delta, Colorado.
