William "Bill" Cutter
June 28, 1932 - November 4, 2013

William "Bill" Cutter passed away November 4, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 28, 1932, in Grand Junction to John W. Cutter and Ida M. (Turner) Cutter. He grew up in Palisade and Rifle, Colorado, where he graduated high school and married Ruth Bailey in 1952.
He is survived by his former wife, Ruth Roberts; his brother, Jack (Melba) Cutter; daughter, Carrie Cutter of Denver; sons, Michael Cutter of Denver; David (Peggy) Cutter of Grand Junction, and Larry (Laurie) Cutter of Colorado Springs; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He served as a medic in the US Army (1953-1955) during the Korean War, then following his military service in 1955, joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, served an apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Wireman. He was a proud lifelong member of the IBEW Local Union 969 in Grand Junction.
During his later years, one of his pleasures was going to Lois's Place each day where he joined friends for meals and conversation.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor may be made to the local VFW Post 1247, 1402 Ute Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81501.
Following the services please join the family for a gathering in honor of Bill Cutter at the VFW Post 1247, 3:30 - 5:00.
