William "Bill" J. Eberhart January 18, 1930 – January 30, 2013 After spending 83 years with his loving family and friends, William J Eberhart "Bill", Grand Junction, Colorado returned to his Heavenly Father on January 30, 2013. Bill was born on January 18, 1930, in Newark, NJ. He married the love of his life, Jo Anne on April 3, 1958. Together they raised four children. He served in the Korean War on the USS Yorktown. He loved flying and loved helping with search and rescue. Bill was an entrepreneur at heart, having owned several businesses in Colorado Springs and Alamosa, before retiring back to Grand Junction. Bill joins his father and mother, William J. Eberhart Sr. and Penelope, and his brothers, Harry and John. He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne; his sons, Steve (Edythe) Eberhart, and Robert (Trish) Eberhart, and daughters, Cheryl (Dennis) O'Dowd, and Belinda (Louis) Toth; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his brother, Gardner (Donna) Eberhart; sister, Norma (Jim) Miller and several nephews and nieces, all that loved "Uncle Billy". Bill was a man of character who was filled with love and left an imprint on so many lives. He was a practical joker who loved his adventurous shortcuts. He was a great family man and was a spark to everyone. He will truly be missed. A celebration of his life will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, CO., at 4:00 p.m. on February 9, 2013.
