HARRY W. LaFAVOR

On May 19,2014, Harry W. LaFavor died from cancer at his home in Green Valley, AZ, with his wife Toots LaFavor by his bedside. His body was cremated and the ashes will be buried in the Parker Cemetery, in Parker, AZ, where his parents and brother are laid to rest. Harry was born in Detroit, MI, on April 26,1935 to Harry & Louise LaFavor, and had one brother, Lloyd LaFavor.

Upon Harry retiring from a successful career in the cash register business in 1984, he pursued his interest in SW art and design. He was known for his original attractive designs in custom gold and silver jewelry pieces. Harry was an active member of the Green Valley Lapidary and Silversmith Club, having served in a variety of positions. He also was a member of the Parker Elks Lodge No. 1929 and was a life member of Lions International, having served as District Governor of Municipal District Four in 1968-1969. Harry proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Airborne.

Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lourdes (Toots) LaFavor, his nephew Michael LaFavor, wife Jayne LaFavor, their children and grandchildren, all from Las Vegas, NV.
