Morriston, FL - Mr. Hugo Henry Legler age 87 of Morriston, Florida passed away August 10, 2014 at Legacy House in Ocala, Fla.
A native Floridian he lived most of his life in Morriston coming there from Tampa, Florida. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Latter Day Saints in Williston and was instrumental in forming the Williston Ward. Mr. Legler was a member of the Masonic Lodge and also a United States War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps and the U.S. Air Force, for a total of five years during the Second World War and the Korean Conflict. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.
Survivors are (5) sons, Emory and wife Martha, Henry and wife Pam, Hugo, Richard and Arnold; (1) daughter, Lydia Legler Bridges (husband) Lonnie; (1) sister, Selma Legler Holman (husband) Jack; (10) grandchildren and (17) great grandchildren.
Mr. Legler was pre-deceased by his wife Maycie-LaVerne; his granddaughter, Marilee Legler; his brother, Nestor Legler; and parents, Emory and Maude Legler.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16th, at 9:00A.M. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Williston, Florida under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home-Williston.
