Daytona Beach - Issie Ann Mildred Cope Lowe, known to her closest friends as Frankie Jean, passed away peacefully at her home in Daytona Beach, Florida, Monday, April 8, 2013.

Ann was born September 12, 1937 in Gainesville, Florida to the late Frank H. and Myrtle Cope. Ann grew up in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1955. She later worked for the University of Florida and retired from the division of Housing and Payroll after thirty years of dedicated service.

Before and after her retirement from the University of Florida, she managed her family's real estate business. After her father's passing in 1998, she took over the family business and operated it until she moved to Daytona Beach full-time where she loved to be on the ocean.

Ann was an avid Florida Gator football fan and attended every game she could. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, music, shopping and good times with friends. She had two cats and four Pomeranian dogs she loved dearly. She was a dedicated daughter and mother to her daughter, Martine Lowe.
