Miami, Florida - Mr. Ralph Cordell, age 83 died Tuesday July 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Cordell was born in Crossville, Tennessee, July 28, 1930 to Clyde Edwards and Lillian Dunbar Cordell, Ralph served honorably in the Korean War in the U.S. Army, he worked for the School Board of Dade County until his retirement. Ralph was a life member of the Everglades Sportsmen and Conservation Club. He and his wife Evealyn Graham Cordell were married 62 years. Survivors include his wife, Evealyn Graham Cordell of Miami, FL.; two sons Ralph "Randy" Cordell, Jr. of Millwood, GA.; and son Robert Todd Cordell of Miami, FL.; sisters Kathy Vargus (Juan) of Miami, Dorothy Vatter (Dave) of Crawfordville, Mary Cooper (Jack) Crossville, TN.; grandson, Jody Williams Cordell and three great grandsons, Austin, Cody & Wyatt Cordell

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted at Eliam Cemetery, Melrose, FL. on Wed. August 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will one hour prior to service time at the graveside.
