Dale Rexford "Rex" Case Obituary
Dale Rexford Case went home to Jesus on February 6, 2014. Rex was born February 15, 1924 in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He grew up in Sedalia, Missouri, until he joined the army at age 16. Rex participated in the Normandy Invasion, Utah Beach. He was involved in five major battles as a tank commander with General Patton and awarded the bronze star for valor. After serving two years in Korea, Rex served at the Pentagon as army advisor to the state of Wyoming. He served two more tours in Germany, was reassigned to Fort Carson, retiring as a Command Sergeant Major in 1962. Rex joined the civil service, US Air Force, retiring again after 23 years.

Rex was a member of Circle Drive Baptist Church before moving to Fort Worth, TX in 2010.

Preceded in death, one son Robert and wife of 34years Lois (Lankford) Case.

Survived by son Jerome (Donna) of Independence, MO, daughter Mary Lee (Pastor Joe Gresham) of Fort Worth, TX and sister Betty Rovinski of Clarksville, TN. Stepson Doyle (Carlene) Lankford and family of Colorado Springs.

Services February 13, 2014 Moore Funeral Home Chapel, Arlington, TX. Interment Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
