Ernest H. "Ernie" Lienemann Obituary
Ernest (Ernie) H. Lienemann, 96, died Monday, September 24, in Colorado Springs. He was born in Bellevue, Nebraska January 31, 1917.

Ernie is survived by his children: Jean Jones of Colorado Springs, June Blacksten and husband Joseph of Glastonbury, Connecticut; grandchildren: Jason Jones of Denver, Joshua Blacksten of Miami, Florida, and Jean Blacksten of San Francisco, California. Ernie was pre-deceased by Lillian, his wife of 58 years.

Ernie served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of BPOE Lodge 309, Eagles Aerie 143, and VFW Post 4051. Ernie was an avid pool player and played on leagues at the Elks and in several tournaments at the Inn at Garden Plaza where he was a resident. He lived in Colorado Springs for 67 years.

A celebration of Ernie's life will be held at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock in Colorado Springs, Monday, October 21 at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pikes Peak Hospice.
