Eugene Bigari, a resident of Colorado Springs for 14 years, passed away November 21, 2012. His love for the Lord made him a natural salesman. He had been a Master Sergeant with the Army National Guard. He was born on September 12, 1931 in Iron River, Michigan to Albert and Mary (Rosetti) Bigari. He married Sue Buck on September 16, 2000. He was a member of Faith Covenant Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Eugene was a man with a servant's heart. He put everyone else first, was a father to the fatherless, and was a friend to all who knew him. He was Mr. Fix-it! He is survived by his wife, Sue; three sons: Randy, Clarence, and Steve; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Bigari. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Faith Covenant Church, 4965 Barnes Road. Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eugene's name may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.
