Frank Bueno was born on December 17, 1915 in Kim, Colorado and passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 10, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He lived a very fulfilling life at first as ranch hand and then as a farm helper in his younger life. He joined the Army to fight in WWII and returned to work in the coal mines in Southern Colorado. In the Sixties, he moved his family to Colorado springs to work at the Air Force Academy and retired from Civil Service in the 80's. His passion was to be a carpenter and filled his remaining years building dog houses. He was a very gentle and patient man and will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Jane Ann (Velasquez) Bueno; three sons, Frank Michael Bueno, David Bueno and Robert Bueno. He is also blessed with 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Nestor Bueno and Lucrecia (Trujillo) Bueno and Daughter Sara Munoz-Ledo. We all will miss him dearly. A visitation will be held at Angelus Funer Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive on Thursday, November 15, from 4-7 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2715 East Pikes Peak Ave, followed by a reception at Angelus Funeral Directors. He will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado on Monday, November 19 at 11 a.m.
