Lonnie Arthur Singleton, Jr., passed away on March 14, 2014. He was born on August 12, 1934, in St. Augustine, Florida to Lonnie and Annette Singleton and grew up in Valdosta, Georgia. Following his graduation from The Citadel, he began his Air Force career. Lonnie was an Air Force pilot who, during his 20 years of service, received 2 Distinguished Flying Cross awards, 2 Air Medals, and the Bronze Star.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy, and his children Carol (Kurt) Wilbur; Robert (Gisele) Singleton; Jacqueline Skaggs; and Janet (Steve) Fieldman. His grandchildren Nicole and Michael Singleton and Samantha Skaggs will miss him very much.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at10:00am at St. Mary's Cathedral, 22 West Kiowa Street in Colorado Springs.
