William P. Robinson, "Bill" originally of Colorado Springs, long time resident of Vail Valley Colorado where he was known as "Robby" passed away on May 19, 2014 after a long illness.

Bill was born September 3, 1941 in Colorado Springs, to Gwendolyn (Price) and William Douglas Robinson. His parents preceded him in death.
He graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1959. After some time at Doane College in Nebraska, the University of Northern Colorado, and Louisiana State University, he settled in the Colorado Mountains. Robby was ski instructor/ski patrol at Breakenridge for a while, Vail Ski Patrol until his marriage in 1972 to Kathy Kuehler. At that time he joined the Vail Real-Estate Department. He remained in real estate eventually opening his office, Robinson-Mitchell in Vail.
He was active in communities throughout the Vail Valley, and cherished his friends from childhood on, as well as, new acquaintances from all over the world.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Kuehler); daughter Sara; son Christopher (Kara); and grandsons Brooks and Charles.
Also preceded in death by close family friends, Samuel and Marcie Shannon, "family" after the death of his parents.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, May 30 at the Vail Chapel. A gathering for family and friends will follow at The Bully Ranch, in Vail.
