William Howard Seibert William Howard Seibert, of 4180 Riverside Drive #406, Danville, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Danville Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 2, 1924 in Lakewood, Ohio, a son of the late Frederick R. Seibert and Julia Matilda Funk Seibert. He was married to Elaine Pribble Seibert who survives of the home. Mr. Seibert was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army Air Corps and was a graduate of the University of Florida. He was retired from Dan River Inc. Transportation Department. He was a member of Schoolfield Baptist Church, Gideon's International, Dan River Retired Employees Club and AARP. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John Hunter Seibert and wife Julie, of Raleigh, NC; one grandson, William Hayes Seibert, of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Phillip L. Seibert, and wife Patricia, of Winston Salem, NC; one sister, Julie Ann Rankin, of Winter Park, FL and one daughter-in-law, Beatrice Seibert, of Martins ville, VA. Mr. Seibert was predeceased by a son, Stephen Ross Seibert and a brother, Richard F. Seibert. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Schoolfield Baptist Church with the Reverend David Turbyfill officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Townes Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.
