Daniel was born Aug. 24, 1982, in San Bernadino, Calif., but was raised in Fort Benton. He married Elsie Owen in 2004; they later divorced.
Daniel attended Sunnyside Elementary and Fort Benton Elementary. He obtained his CNA in Great Falls. Prior to becoming a CNA, Daniel worked as a dishwasher, wild land firefighter, was employed at NEW, Montana Flour and Grain and Pasta Montana. It was his strong desire to work with the elderly and disabled that led him to choose a career as a CNA.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, swimming and playing Playstation with his son, and he loved to cook.
When all else failed, he would try and try again. He never gave up.
Daniel is survived by his fiancé, Alta Kravik; parents Daniel and Janet Haman, all of Great Falls; son Daniel Haman III of Great Falls; daughter Annika Haman of Fort Carson, Colo.; sisters Jennie Malott and Jasmine Williams both of Great Falls; brothers Dale Potter of Vaughn and Deacon Haman of Great Falls; and his grandfather John (Sonny) Haman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Daniel was preceded in death by grandmother Marilyn Haman; grandfather Negrette; and grandmother Susan Negrette.
