Fred Stanley Wolfe Jr., 82, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Wednesday, Feb. 20, at a local hospital.

Memorial service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at O'Connor Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Conner Funeral Home.
Fred was born Nov. 25, 1930, to Fred and Grace Wolfe in Watsonville, Calif. He attended school in California and joined the Air Force in 1950. After serving four years, Fred was honorably discharged. He married the love of his life, Maxine Goodell, in 1956. Fred served as Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge 214 in 1975. He was a retired electronics technician, who enjoyed wood working, fixing old radios, camping and spending time with his family,
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Maxine Wolfe of Great Falls; daughter, Jennifer (Dean) Pearson of Fairfield; sons, Michael (Jennifer) Wolfe of Great Falls and Mark Wolfe of Twin Falls, Idaho; sister, Pat Houpt of Oroville, Wash.; five grandchildren, Amanda, Destiny, Taylor, JayLynn and Langdon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters.
