FAIRFIELD Gordon Grant Young, 76, of Fairfield, a US Air Force veteran, church elder and truck driver, who loved the outdoors, died of natural causes Saturday, March 2, at a Great Falls care facility.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Fairfield Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cremation will take place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Young of Fairfield; children Toby Young of Virginia City, Nev., Terry Young of Great Falls, Glen Young of Olivehurst, Calif., Novalee Young and Nada Leversee, both of Fairfield and Jon Tuck of Tacoma, Wash.; foster children Peggy Feeler of Fort Shaw, Lisa Kirby of Great Falls and Nina Red Thunder of Provo, Utah; siblings Bill Young of Tacoma, Hazel Richmond of Washington, Arlett Clairmont of Kalispell, Ted Young of Helena, Mickey Young of Kalispell and Cindy McElderry of Omak, Wash.; 38 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sons Timmy Young and Derek Ahenakew Young; daughter Rachael Wilding; and two grandchildren.
