HAVRE Harvey Earl Dustrude Sr, 86, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Saturday, Feb. 16, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at O'Connor Funeral Home. Funeral liturgy is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Ann's Cathedral. Burial with military honors will follow at Highland Cemetery. O'Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Harvey attended schools in Wood, S.D., then joined the Marine Corps during World War II. He served in the Palaus Campaign, Okinawa and the Occupation of China. Following his discharge he returned to Montana and worked in construction. He was a teamster for the City of Great Falls. After his retirement he worked for the Great Falls Food Bank.
He was a member of St. Ann's Cathedral
Harvey is survived by his son, Harvey E. "Rusty" Dustrude Jr. of Havre; a sister, Dorothy Marie Hudson of Rapid City, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
