Great Falls —James R. Bauch, 58, of Great Falls, passed away on November 1, 2013, of natural causes at his home. James was born in Bozeman, MT to Julius and Mildred (Stokes) Bauch on April 18, 1955. He grew up in Belt, Montana.
He graduated from Seattle High School in1975. He married his soul mate Merilee Zandhuisen on August 3, 1979 at Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls. They were blessed with a son and a daughter. James owned and operated Z&B Sharpening, he was a laborer, a firefighter in Montana, along with farming and ranching.
James loved being with his family and friends. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, as they did him with wonderful sense of humor. No one was a stranger for long, with his gift of talking. He was always willing stop and help anyone who needed it. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working outside.
He is survived by his wife, Merilee Z. Bauch, of 34 years, son James Lee(Elizabeth)Bauch, daughter Adelia Bauch, precious grandchildren Candra & Calvin Bauch along with Keeana, sisters Betsy (Bebe) Olney of Seattle, WA, Kathy (Ben) Flanagan, Nancy Gillis of Great Falls, Marcia (Roy) Yurt of Park City, Rita Rossi, Susan (Scott) Buddy of Kennewick, WA, brothers Mike (Jane) Bauch, Monty Bauch, Terry (Evelyn) Bauch of Great Falls, MT father Julius R. Bauch of Kennewick and numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Bauch, brother Bill Bauch, and nephew Zane Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Croxford Funeral Home.
Open House Celebration of Life is on Wednesday, November 6th at 899 Wood Avenue, Manchester, 3:00 - 7:00 pm.
