Jedlowski, Albert "Al"
Albert "Al" L. Jedlowski, 73, Pulaski resident, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at a local nursing home. He was born June 28, 1940 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Louis and Victoria (Wojkiewicz) Jedlowski. Al married the former Lois Schmiling on October 20, 1962 in Forestville. She preceded him in death on October 18, 1997. Al was a certified auto mechanic and was owner/manager of four different Amoco service stations from 1963 until 1986. After 23 years in the service stations he became owner of Echo Valley Resort until 1991. In 1994 he started A.J. Trucking and finally in 1998 returned to auto repair as a partner in Quality Auto Repair, Inc. until his retirement. Al served on the Amoco Advisory Council for five years, was a member of the Elks Lodge #259 from 1972 - 1986 and the Green Bay Preble Optimist Club from 1970 until 1986.
Al is survived by two sons, Alan Jedlowski, Little Suamico and John (Nikki) Jedlowski, Beaver Dam, WI; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica and Al's special friend, Rose Toczyl, Pulaski.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Frank Renard Sr.; a brother, Henry Jedlowski and brother-in-law, Ted Wojtowicz.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Friday. Funeral service 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home with Rev. David Hatch officiating. Burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. On-line condolences may be sent to Al's family at www.prokowall.com.
