Carlton "Beezer" G. Stencil, 80, Green Bay, reunited with his wife of fifty years in Heaven on Friday, December 13, 2013. He passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence. Carlton was born November 13, 1933, in Green Bay to Andrew and Regina (Ripp) Stencil. Carlton served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957 in the Korean War. He retired from James River in 1995 after 42 years of union work as a Paper Maker.
Carlton married Ethel (Hooper) Reinhard on April 27, 1963. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, woodworking, collecting license plates and going to his cottage in Rhinelander. He was a member of Annunciation Parish in Green Bay, The Loyal Order of the Moose and the Wisconsin Dairy Land License Plate Collector Club.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Robert (Sandy) Stencil, John (Michel Rene) Stencil; three step-children, Ruth (Teo) Cervantes, Richard (Judith) Reinhard, Donald (Carole) Reinhard; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard Stencil; two sisters and brother-in-law, Laverne (Milton) Mancosky, Mary Jane Walton; his sister-in-law, Joyce Stencil; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Carlton was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; his parents; four brothers, Howard, Raymond, James and Leroy Stencil; two sisters, Delores (George) Mancosky, Carol Belland.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. A Loyal Order of Moose Service will start at 6:45 p.m. followed by a Parish Wake Service. Military Honors will conclude the evening. Friends may also call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
