Clarence J. "Chip" Francois, 88, Green Bay, died peacefully, Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home. He was born November 21, 1925 in Green Bay to the late Clifford and Jenny (Nitka) Francois. He was a graduate of Green Bay east High School Clarence served in the US Army during WWII from 1945 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was employed at Fairmont Foods in the sales department for many years. Following his career at Fairmont he owned and operated several taverns in Green Bay until his retirement. Clarence never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family. Whenever there was an event, he was sure to be there. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by three brothers: Donald (Sandy) Francois; James (Sheri) Francois and Ronald "Bud" Francois, all of Green Bay; two sisters, Beverly (Gerald) Kaster, Green Bay and Shirley (James) Krause, Escanaba, MI; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy Francois.
