Hendricks, Gerald L. "Jerry"

Gerald "Jerry" L. Hendricks, 79, Green Bay, went to join his lovely wife, Connie, in heaven on Monday evening, February 4, 2013, while at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice. Born August 21, 1933, in Maplewood, he is the son of the late Gordon and Cecelia (Delwiche) Hendricks. Jerry faithfully served his country in the US Army. He married Connie McCarthy on June 2, 1956, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara and she preceded him in death on November 22, 1993. After returning from the service, Jerry began his employment of 43 years with James River, retiring in 1994. He was a long time member of the Bellevue Winiecki VFW Post #9677. Jerry will be remembered as a huge Packer fan and for his love of playing cards and his enjoyment of gambling.

He is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Leanne Lambert of Green Bay, Kathy and Steve Phillips of De Pere, and Susie Enderby of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Craig (Liz), Kyle (Chanel), and Geri Lynn (Ryan); one great-grandson, Jaxson; brothers and sisters, Joanne (Bob) Breister of Menasha, Karen (Lee) Bournoville of Sturgeon Bay, Jackie Van Pay of Green Bay, Janice Swoboda of Luxemburg, Joyce Hendricks of Luxemburg, Ken (Jan) Hendricks and David (Patti) Hendricks all of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Hendricks of Green Bay and Patty (Louie) Occhetti of Waukesha; special friends, Ron Enderby of New Franken, Herb Haney and Maimie Gay, both of Green Bay; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 37 years, Connie; son-in-law, Al Lambert; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ginger Hendricks; two brothers-in-law, Jim Van Pay and Lary Swoboda; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Esther McCarthy.

Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Thursday from 4-8pm. Parish wake service 7pm Thursday at the funeral home with Deacon Michael C. Vincent officiating. Visitation continues Friday morning at the funeral home from 9am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 10am Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Anthony V. Cirignani, OFM officiating. Full military honors to follow. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Visit to send an online condolence to the family.
