Gordon E. Wishart, 88, De Pere passed away peacefully early Monday morning, March 17, 2014. Gordy was born February 19, 1926 in De Pere to the late Harvey and Elizabeth (De France) Wishart. In 1949 he was united in marriage to Geraldine Kollross. Gordy was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. Gordy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially his and Geri's cottage on Lake Mary. He retired from Atlas Cold Storage.
Gordy is survived by his wife Geraldine, children and grandchildren; Wayne (Audrey) Wishart, and their children Jennifer (Eric), Brian, Scott. Karen (Daniel) Lessmiller and their children; Tammy (Todd), Ivory (Robert). Glen Wishart. Gary (Debbie) Wishart and their children; Kristen (Mike), Joe (Natasha). Dale (Laurie) Wishart and their children; Mark and Ryan. Debbie (John) Cornell and their children; Troy and Stacey. Julie (Ray) VandenHeuvel and their children; Raymond (fiancé Rebecca), Brandon, Dalton, and Melody. Gordy is further survived by 11 great grandchildren his brother Don (Alvira) Wishart and sister in law Joanne Kollross. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Jay, and great grandson Maddox.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere after 3pm Thursday March 20, 2014. A Prayer Service will be held at 7pm with Fr.
