Ebben, Henry "Hank'
Henry "Hank" Ebben, 81, Green Bay, passed away on Oct. 18, 2013, after a brief illness. Hank was born on April 2, 1932, son of the late Henry and Mary (Huven) Ebben. On April 29, 1961, Hank married Rosella "Rose" Jadin at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tonet, Wis.
Hank graduated from St. Nicholas Grade School in Freedom, Wis., and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked at Procter and Gamble Paper Products for 41 years until he retired in 1997.
He enjoyed reading, classical music, and trips to San Francisco, and in his retirement built a 30 foot long model of the Golden Gate Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Rose and his son, David, Green Bay; sisters, Sister Janet Ebben, OSF, Springfield, Ill.; Dorothy Wavrunek, Pilsen, Wis.; brother, Willard Ebben, Kaukauna, Wis.; sister-in-law, Mary Ebben, Kaukauna. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty (Lincoln) Pickard, San Diego, Calif.; Marilyn Kibilowski (special friend, Jack Young), Green Bay; Larry (Shelly) Jadin, Green Bay; stepsisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy Melotte, Pine Grove; Denny (Pat) DeBouche, Crivitz; Kathy (Arlen) Wilson, Liberty, Mo.; Terri (Greg) Meyer, Rhinelander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mathilda (Peter) Van Den Bosch; Frances (Ervin) Deprez; Clara (Walter) Roepcke; Genevieve Ebben; and Margaret (Raymond) Heindl; and brothers, Vincent Ebben and Richard Ebben. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Walter Kibilowski, and a stepbrother-in-law, Roger Melotte.
In honor of Hank's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family. Those who wish to make donations in Hank's name may do so by contributing to their favorite charities.
