Hendricks, James W.

James "Jim" W. Hendricks, 79, Green Bay resident, died unexpectedly while fishing with his nephews on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born on November 26, 1932, in Green Bay to the late Henry and Louise (Sausen) Hendricks. Jim served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Korean Conflict. He married Dawn LaTour on October 25, 1957, in Green Bay. Jim was a volunteer firefighter in the Preble area of Green Bay for many years. He worked as a prison guard for several years and then worked as a Realtor in Green Bay for many years until his retirement. Jim loved to go fishing, hunting and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; 2 sons, Michael (Candy) and Patrick; 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Abby, James, Jesse and Angel; 5 great grandchildren, Kacey, Kylie, Serenity, Triston and Ziggy; brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and card players.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Military Honors will be performed at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
