Brennan, Janice Marie (Trotter)

Janice Marie Brennan (Trotter), 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 6. She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Wayside, Wis., daughter of the late Gordon F. Brennan and Claire F. (Herold) Brennan.

Along with her late husband Gene C. Trotter who was in the Air Force, she traveled to Japan, Michigan, Texas and Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Janice was a graduate of West Green Bay High School, where she and Gene met. After graduating as a Registered Nurse from University of Minnesota-Minneapolis, she worked numerous positions as an RN: most notably the Veteran's hospital at Fort Snelling. She obtained her Master's degree in Psychology and Education in 1979 and was an instructor at NWTC for 16 years.

Janice will be remembered for her loyalty, perseverance, generosity and kind heart.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Michael Trotter, Green Bay; Mary Trotter, Arvada, Colo.; Patrick (Averill) Trotter, Richmond, Va.; Kelly (Allan) Main, Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Lauren and Christian Trotter; and siblings, Joleen Duda, June Lasee, Mary Hillary, sisters; Gerald Brennan (Cathy) brother; and Kathleen Pohlod, sister.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; sister, Jacqueline; brother, Russell; brother-in-law, Michael Pohlod; and infant twin grandchildren of Patrick and Averill Trotter.

Family and friends may attend Nov. 30, 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St. Green Bay, Wis. Special thanks to Fox River Dialysis Center staff.
