Giles, Nancy R.

Nancy R. Giles, 66, Green Bay, died Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was born January 23, 1947, in Laona, WI, to Orville and Margaret (Miron) Giles.

When Nancy was younger she enjoyed working in the community. Her happiest times were going to Disney World and if she could, she would live there. Nancy was active in Special Olympics, competing in shot put, the 400 meter walk, bowling and bocce ball where she earned gold medals. She was also an amateur photographer. Nancy loved all animals, especially cats. She loved her nieces and nephews and will be remembered as a loving sister and daughter who had a wonderful smile.

Nancy is survived by two sisters and one brother and their spouses, Margaret and Win Simon, Green Bay; Gloria Lieb, Howard; John and Sandy Giles, White Lake; nine nieces and nephews, Carla Lieb (personal guardian), Paul (Diane) Simon, Steven Simon (fiancé, Lisa), Tom Simon, Pam (Pablo) Chavez, Mike Giles, Mark Giles, Matt Giles, Daniel Giles; great-nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Nicholas Lieb.
