Radtke, Philip K.

Philip K. Radtke, D.D.S. passed away August 2, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. Those wishing to sign Philip's guestbook may do so online at

Philip graduated from Algoma High School and attended Carroll College prior to enrolling in dental school. For the past 17 years, Dr. Radtke was a root canal specialist with PKR Endodontics in Michigan City, Indiana. He was a dedicated professional, Diplomat with the American Board of Endodontics, and Northwestern University Dental School Alumni.

A veteran, Colonel Radtke served in the United States Army Dental Corps for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel Richard Radtke. He leaves behind his loving family: wife, Lori Radtke; mother, Irene Radtke of Algoma; sister, Valerie Radtke of Glendale, WI; brother, Paul Radtke and Donna Hansen of Crivitz, WI; and many loving relatives and friends; as well as his beloved terriers Chauncey and Chihuly.

He was an accomplished fly-fisherman and avid hunter. He remains in our hearts forever as a gentle, caring soul whom we cannot imagine life without.

As a memorial, kindly consider a donation to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Private family services will be held at a later date.
