Robert A. "Bob" Dalebroux, 83, Green Bay resident, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, September 4, 2013, at a local care facility, while undergoing rehab. He was born August 21, 1930, in Luxemburg, to the late Alex and Louise (Lemens) Dalebroux. Bob was a graduate of Luxemburg High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a Radio Operator from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1952. Upon his return home he married the former Fern Kolmorgen on August 6, 1960, at St. Odile's Catholic Church in Thiry Daems. Bob owned and operated Dalebroux Meats for over forty years. In 1996 Bob sold the business to his son Mark, who he continued to work for until his health wouldn't allow. Bob was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Denmark Council #4735. He was also an alumni of the Denmark FFA and currently a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Bob and Fern always enjoyed traveling, visiting places from one coast to another. Some of their best trips were just up to the cottage in Mountain. Bob didn't miss many Packer games, was a hard worker, a handyman and enjoyed spending time in his garden. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was extremely proud of his family, especially his two grandsons. Bob always looked forward to Sunday. That was the day the family worked and played together.
