Delvoye, Roger J.

Roger J. Delvoye, 72, Howard, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013. He was born in Green Bay on April 28, 1941 to the late Joseph and Alvina (Luedke) Delvoye. Roger graduated from Premontre High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1960-1963 and was honorably discharged. Roger was employed as a letter carrier for the Postal Service from 1965 to 1992. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Duck Creek Council #6279 and the Duck Creek VFW Post 7534.

Survivors include his sister, Janice (Dennis) Baker; brothers, Norbert Delvoye; Raymond (Sarah) Delvoye; Melvin Delvoye; sister-in-law, Bev Delvoye. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy (Ken) Osmond; Isabelle and Judy Delvoye; brothers, Donald (Bette) Delvoye; Gerald Delvoye; Leo Delvoye; Robert Delvoye; sister-in-law, Marie Delvoye.

Family and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2561 Glendale Ave., Howard on Monday, Dec. 23 from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 5:00 p.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Online condolences welcome at
