Frisque, Roman

Roman "Bud" Frisque, 85, Eagan MN, formerly of Green Bay, passed away at home on December 26, 2012. Born in Luxemburg in 1927, he is the son of the late Michael and Anna (Cravillion) Frisque.

Roman and Arena were married on April 19, 1947, at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Green Bay. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Roman was active with the Knights of Columbus serving as Past Grand Knight of Council 617 of Green Bay and Past Faithful Navigator of Marquette Assembly 1197. He assisted the State Officers as a District Deputy and Fifth Area Coordinator.

Roman was a volunteer and member of The Concerned Hearts Club at Bellin Hospital. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1065 of Luxemburg, WI. Roman was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2113 of DePere.

Roman is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Kraack of Mendota Heights, MN; three grandchildren, Michelle Frisque of Chicago, Emily (Eric) Chad and Timothy Kraack of Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Patricia Frisque of Pewaukee; sister, Dorothy (Marvin) Bertrand and brother, John Frisque, all of Green Bay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Arena (Backer); son, Darrell; his parents; sister, Magdeline Dunning and brothers James and Allen Frisque; sister-in-law, Rosie Frisque.

Visitation at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Monday, December 31, from 9 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 AM with the Most Rev. Robert Morneau officiating.
