Ronald "Tiny" Morgan, 71, Allouez, passed away July 20, 2014, at the Jack & Engrid Meng Unity Residence with family and friends at his side. Ron was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Ladysmith to the late James and Margaret (Klingbeil) Morgan. He graduated from Denmark High School in 1961, and served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. During his service, Ron received a commendation from the Air Force for co-designing a starter for fighter jets. Ron married Wynetta "Winnie" Tate Sept. 23, 1967, in Denmark. He followed in his father's footsteps working in the cheese making industry, and was a member of the Brown County Special Deputy Association. Ron had been retired for many years and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, family, and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife Wynetta Morgan; their son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Becki Morgan; granddaughter, Emily; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Roxann Morgan; brother-in-law, David Tate; nieces and nephews, Matthew Morgan, MacKenzie (Robert) Caron, Marissa Morgan, and Margaret Morgan.
He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald; a brother, Michael; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Marie Tate.
Friends and family will gather from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Military Honors will conclude the gathering at 4 p.m. To send on-line condolences visit www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
