Charles Edward Robinson, III
Charles "Chuck" Edward Robinson, III, 68, of Greenville, husband of Deborah Lewis Robinson, died Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Robinson, Jr. and Kathryn Ward Robinson. Mr. Robinson attended Clemson University and worked in commercial real estate.
Mr. Robinson served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Wesley Ward Robinson and wife, Arianne, of Hendersonville, NC, and Lee Leslie and wife, Deb, of Johns Creek, GA; two daughters, Kirsten Leslie Barr and husband, Adam, of Charleston and Maggie Leslie Nerenberg and husband, Micah, of Asheville, NC; one sister, Kathryn "Kit" Bright of Anderson; and six grandchildren, Wesley Robinson, Anna Leslie, Harriet and Edward Barr, Sophia Nerenberg, and Isabel Moonshine.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at noon in the Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The burial will be held at a later date in Altavista, VA.
