Isaac F. Lewis Jr.


Isaac F. Lewis, Jr., age 89, widower of Ida Curti Lewis, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Born in Conway, he was a son of the late Isaac F. Lewis, Sr. and Claude Horne Lewis. Mr. Lewis served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Air Force having fought in World War II and in the Vietnam War. He attended Mauldin United Methodist Church.

Mr. Lewis is survived by a daughter, Louise Cabe; two sons, Joe Boger and wife Darlene and Jeff Lewis and wife Lura; six grandchildren, Kelly Uzas, Merritt Schultz, Chancie Lewis, Isaac Boger, Stacy Boger, and Nickie Boger; and several great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Cannon Funeral Home-Jones Chapel, Simpsonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
