Landrum J. Johnson
Landrum Jasper Johnson, 93, formerly of 207 Westfield Ave., widower of Lucille Herbert Johnson, died October 26, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. His first wife was the late Cecile Foster Johnson.
A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Kirk and Estelle Boyter Johnson, he was a retired employee of Bailes-Collins, a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, member of DAV Chapter 39 of Greer and a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Rita Sloan Lancaster of Greer and Sandra Cooper of Duncan; step-sons, Jimmy Johnson and Gary Johnson; two brothers Earl Johnson of Duncan and J.B. Waddell of Greer; one sister, Patricia Ann Huskey of Reidville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Johnson was predeceased by one sister Maudie Stoddard.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Donel Kelley and Rev. Vernon Thornhill. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of the daughter, Rita Lancaster, 7 Peachtree Lane, Greer, S.C. 29651.
