Lisa Adragna Mize


Lisa Michele Adragna Mize, 48, wife of John William Mize, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson after a courageous battle with inflammatory breast cancer and brain cancer.

Born in Dearborn, MI, she was the daughter of Frank Joseph Adragna, Sr., of Williamston, and the late Linda Rochelle Satterfield Adragna. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Williamston and Lakewood Baptist Church in Houston, TX.

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband and her father, are her children, Ashlyn and Seth, the sunshine of her life; her brothers, Michael Adragna (Deborah) and their children, Kayla and Karleigh, and Frankie Adragna (Jeannine) and their children, Cameron Adragna, Josh and Caleb Harris. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Patsy Mize; her brother-in-law, Robin Mize (Melanie) and their children, Jaime and Jennifer Mize; niece, Jasmine Martin; nephew, Josiah Martin; her father's fiancée, Doris Richardson; and her beloved cat, Sugar.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the funeral home chapel with entombment following at Memory Gardens in Clemson.

The family is at the residence.

Lisa has been an inspiration to her family and to every life she touched with her determination and bravery. The family would like to thank Lisa's dear friend, Sabrina Bostian for her love and for traveling with Lisa to Texas for her radiation therapy. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
