Oleta Wright Patrick

Greenville

Oleta Wright Patrick went to be with her Lord on April 17, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Cooper Patrick, retired pastor of Overbrook Baptist Church after 28 years of service.

Born in Azle, TX, she was a daughter of the late F. C. and Julia Newsome Wright.

Mrs. Patrick was a pre-school teacher and a member of Overbrook Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Dianne Patrick of Ft. Worth, TX, and June Patrick Bennice (Donn) of Eagle River, Alaska; two sons, Cooper Patrick (Lynn) of Memphis, TN, and Dale Patrick of Greenville; grandchildren, John A. and Daniel C. Patrick and Matthew and Wesley Bennice; a special niece, Doloris Jones of Paradise, TX; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandchild, Kelly Bennice.

Services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Overbrook Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dale Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Overbrook Baptist Church or the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, 1705 E. North St., Greenville, SC 29607.
