Julie Lynne Thornock of Logan, Utah, passed from this life on Monday, May 13, 2013. She fought a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Her greatest desire was to live and be with her boys. Julie was born on May 7, 1956, to Russell and Emma Lue Thornock. She was raised in Cokeville, Wyoming, and graduated from high school there in 1975. Julie later served in the Louisiana, Baton Rouge LDS mission. Following her missionary service, she met and married Daniel Wiegand in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union, two sons were born. Dan and Julie were later divorced. Julie is survived by her sons, Daniel (Diana), and David of Logan, Utah. She is also survived by her siblings J.R. of Salt Lake City; Mary Lue Birch (Glenn), Cokeville; Ernie (Karen), Cokeville; Connie Bird (John), Green River, Wyoming; and Jeff (Jolane), Layton, Utah. There are also many, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grand niece. There will be a viewing Sunday evening at the Nelson Funeral home in Logan, Utah, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the Cokeville, Wyoming, LDS Chapel. On that day, prior to the services, there will be a viewing beginning 11 a.m.
