Mark Nuttall Jenkins, 96, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield.
He was born Feb. 9, 1917, in Newton, Utah, to Moroni Jenkins and Alice Nuttall.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mark married Bonnie Rae Pitcher on Jan. 15, 1947, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed June 19, 1957, in the Logan Temple. They had just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary together.
Mark was a member of the Sunset 2nd Ward. He has served as counselor in the Bishopric and many other callings throughout his life. Mark and Bonnie served as missionaries together in the Atlanta Temple and then later worked in the Ogden Temple.
He worked at Hill Air Force Base doing property disposal and retired after 33 years. Mark loved to play the piano, fish and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, children Greg (Connie) Jenkins, Kathy Hassell, Jeff Jenkins, Christie Hole, David (Pam) Jenkins, Doug (DeAnn) Jenkins, Steve (Cindy) Jenkins, Rick (Kim) Jenkins, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Sunset 2nd Ward, 220 W. 975 North, Sunset. A viewing will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, prior to services.
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
