Danny R. Siddons, age 52, of 2023 Jackson St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning, November 3, 2013, at home.
Danny was born June 2, 1961, in Chippewa Falls, son of Russell Siddons and the late Betty (Hemminger) Siddons. Danny graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1979. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from December of 1981 until April of 1985 and then from April of 1985 until he was honorably discharged in April of 1993. He trained at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina to be a mechanic. During his service time, he was awarded the following commendations: Good Conduct Medal, Marksmanship Rifle Badge, Rifle Expert Badge, 2nd Award, Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, Navy Unit Commendation, C Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal, Meritorious Mast, Meritorious Unit Commendation and Letter of Appreciation. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, was an avid Packer fan and in his younger years, he liked Pontiac Trans Am cars.
Survivors include his partner of 19 years: Jolynn Romdenne, Two Rivers; his daughter: Danielle Siddons, Manitowoc, three granddaughters: Olivia Siddons, Oriana Miller and Olena Miller; his father: Russ Siddons and friend, Eileen, Two Rivers; brothers and sisters: Roger (Sheryl) Siddons, Wautoma, Sharon Brauer and friend, Dave Behringer, Plymouth, Minn., Barry (Julie) Siddons, LaCrosse, Brenda Siddons and friend, Dave Stadler, Lily, and Tammy (Dave) Fischer, Manitowoc. He is further survived by Jolynn's children: Lora (Jason) Kinjerski, Sara Romdenne and Matthew Romdenne; her mother: Ardis Romdenne; and her siblings: Connie Welnitz (Kevin Karl), Susan Romdenne (Russ Hanes), David (Crys) Romdenne and Joseph (Teresa) Romdenne, Jr.; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Larry Siddons and Jolynn's father: Joseph Romdenne, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Roger Harrison. Military honors will be accorded following the services by members of V.F.W. Post #1248 and American Legion Post #165 of Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
