Bentley, David George
David George Bentley, born on Feb. 22, 1946, passed away in Sweetwater, TN, on September 5,
2013, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Arleen Bentley of Hinsdale, IL. He is survived by his wife, Marcea of Sweetwater, TN; his son, David G. Bentley IV of Manitowoc, WI; daughter, Wendy and her husband, Joe Wilhelm of Manitowoc, WI; and four grandsons, Shawn, Brady, Rory and Joey, all of Manitowoc, WI. Also surviving are his three sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews. He was everyone's favorite "Uncle David." David was an Air Force veteran, serving in Korea and Viet Nam and two years in the reserves. He loved Nascar racing and his favorite driver, was #3, Dale Earnhardt. He owned and designed two Monte Carlo #3 Earnhardt cars,of which he was very proud. No services will be held locally. His ashes will be buried at a later date in the Bentley Family Plot in WI. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Amedisys Hospice of Sweetwater for their support in his final days, with a special thank you to his RN Vickie Lester for her care and attendance to our family. In lieu of flowers, messages of comfort and monetary gifts may be sent to Mrs. David Bentley, 1585 Old Highway 68, Sweetwater, TN 37874. Thank you all for your loving thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, David.
