Moleski, Frank

Frank Moleski, age 65, a resident of Manitowoc, passed on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Frank was born on January 21, 1948 in Chicago to Mabel Decker Chmielewski and the late Alex "Punch" Chmielewski. He graduated from Lakeview High School in Chicago with the class of 1963. Frank was then drafted into the United States Army and served with the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart. On November 3, 1985, Frank married Debbie Pawlisz in Chicago. Frank was a military buff and loved to build model airplanes. He was passionate about the lakefront and walking through the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Frank was an artist and a best friend to everybody.

Survivors include Frank's wife: Debbie; two sons: Errol and Wade; mother: Mabel Chmielewski; two brothers: Michael Chmielewski and Allen Moleski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jackie (George) Hoff, David (Maria) Pawlisz, Judith Pawlisz, Carol Pawlisz, Melvin (Christine) Pawlisz, Jayne (Richard) Hillebrand, Victoria (Michael) Marr, and Joseph (Ann) Pawlisz; 23 nieces and nephews; other relatives, friends, and his beloved hound, Buddy.

A Life Celebration Social will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Military rites will be accorded by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 731 outside of the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center at 4 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to
