Harold B. Gulikson
Harold B. Gulikson, 93, of New Holstein, died Monday morning, June 17, 2013 at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein after a short illness.
He was born, January 17, 1920 in the Town of Liberty, son of the late Ole & Luella (Alfson) Gulikson.
Harold was veteran of the US Army proudly serving his country during World War II in the Pacific.
On April 2, 1954 he married Violet L. Rodney at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty.
Violet preceded him in death on April 19, 2012.
Harold worked for Christel & Ninmer as a mechanic for many years and was a welder at MB Co. until his retirement.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty. He also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, New Holstein American Legion and a former member of the Manitowoc VFW.
Harold enjoyed working in his shop at home.
Survivors include his son, Bill Gulikson, New Holstein.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet, two sons, Harold Jr, & Lee Gulikson and one sister, Agnes (Harold) Lawrence.
Funeral services for Harold will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel with Pastor Gregory Pope officiating.
Burial will take place in Gjerpen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
The American Legion, Post 124, New Holstein will conduct services at the funeral home on Saturday.
