Morse, Howard "Kin"
The Guest Book is expired.
Howard Kinnamon Morse died peacefully January 12, 2014, at his home in Fresno, California, days before his 92nd birthday. He was born on January 16, 1922, in Pasadena, CA.
You won't see Kin's name in the history books, but his memory is written on the hearts of his children and anyone who knew him. He was a WWII veteran who had a gentle spirit but was firm with discipline. He was a hard worker, but balanced work and life. He was a musician, singer, wood carver, wood worker, ebelskiver master. He loved a good joke. He helped others, whether it was fixing a car, working on a puzzle, or delivering Meals on Wheels. He treated his daughter (Lynn Retzak of Manitowoc) like a princess and was extremely proud of his sons (Lee and Lyle Morse of California). He adored his six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He had two great marriages, surviving both wives, and demonstrated to all who knew him that life entails certain responsibilities but is meant to be enjoyed.
Kin spent most of his life in California, and recently lived at Felician Village in Manitowoc. Friends are invited to join the family at a service to honor his memory and celebrate his life. The service will be held at the Felician Village Gardens (1700 S. 18th Street, Manitowoc) at 1:00 on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
