News Death Notice
LINDLEY, Juanita Age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at 1302 Millville Avenue on Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born on July 22, 1930 to Cecil and Elizabeth (Bollinger) Pough. She married Leroy Lindley on August 19, 1950 and was married for 47 years until his passing in 1999. She and Leroy were dairy farmers and raised Guernsey cows for many years. She then began her second career as a nurse and was employed at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Hamilton and Mercy Franciscan Schroder Manor until her retirement in 1998. She was an avid line dancer and was active in the Murstein Country Line Dancers (Partners in Prime) and The Foxy Steppers. She was a member of the Hamilton Eagles #3986 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 501 in Middletown, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family, playing cards and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Holt; extended family, Helen and Joe Born, Michael Born, Tara Jo Born, Randy Born, Daryle and Lisa Heck and Kristina Heck; and special friends, Daniel Fischer, Ralph and Martha Turley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Lindley; parents; brothers, Cecil, Ernest, Fred, Harold and Ronald; sisters, Edith, Louise and Ruth Ann; and step sister, Mary Elizabeth. Visitation will be 10am until time of service (11am), Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
